My adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, will be presented at the Players' Ring Theatre in Portsmouth, NH, opening on Halloween and running for three weekends. The fantastic cast features John Budzyna, Tommy Carnes, Jocelyn Duford, Kate Gilbert, Ed Simeone and Sammi Soprano. I'll direct. Tickets available HERE.
My brand new play, THE STANDS, was presented at the Firehouse Center for the Arts on May 3,4 and 5, 2024. The play was staged at the Players' Ring in Portsmouth from May 26 through June 11, 2023, to significant acclaim, and subsequently won 4 New Hampshire Theatre Awards, include OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION! The Story: Five parents, and one grandparent, of Little Leaguers attend the first practice and final game of the summer to oversee their kids as they compete. Over the course of the play, we learn a great deal about these people as they slowly reveal a frightening, earth shattering moment that happens to them on the last day of the season.
My new play, MOONGLOW, which is based on Ray Greeley, a musician and teacher in the Lowell, MA area in the sixties, recently ran for six highly successful weeks at the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield, MA. Previously, MOONGLOW completed two extremely successful runs, first at the Players' Ring Theatre in downtown Portsmouth, NH, at Prescott Park, and then at the Firehouse Center in Newburyport in October. TRICK OR TREAT completed a successful seven-week run off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters. The show featured Gordon Clapp, Emmy Winner from NYPD BLUE and Tony nominee from GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS.
